    Currency depreciation is but a side effect of Japan's efforts to reflate its economy, which it's within its rights to do. Venezuela & Switzerland have both undertaken much more explicit currency intervention. But I guess those countries don't fit your US-obsessed narrative

    This whole debate is a nonsense. Neither country is in crisis. The US was in one, but that was 4 years ago. China might have one in the future. But can we please use the word "crisis" appropriately? Many thanks.

    To see falsity of @郎咸平 claim of industrial crisis in China and US recovery see chart below. Peak of US industrial production was September 2007 - 5 years ago. US industrial production is 4.1% below September 2007 while China is 78.7% above. Clear crisis is in US not China!
