How far south of the priority MH370 search area are they going to go? Or, do they mean southwest?

MH70 & MH370? MAS airline turn-back problem related to maintaining air pressure in the plane after an hour of flight. This could be related to a step-climb issue? 🔗 网页链接 Flight MH70 departed Kuala Lumpur for Tokyo.

How come Malaysia hasn't released a full resolution version of this MH370 radar plot since it contains tiny timestamps next to each blip?

Interesting #MH370 topo related to Fugro Equator search. FE is approximately 125 nautical miles due south of the Chinese ping location headed northeast.

Per day, at or around 7kts at 20 hours/day, the Fugro Equator can swath 260 nautical miles with 2000m swathes at a time. It would take roughly 2-3 months to swath 260 nautical miles by 125 nautical miles northward, covering roughly an area of 111,000 square km.

When remnants of MH370 are ultimately found at the bottom of Indian Ocean, I wonder what all the doubters will say, those that ignored the ping data? Will they learn, or will they rationalize a valid excuse for their obvious error of judgement?

So any change in ping timing is determined by a prior state change. It's initiated by the GES (not the plane). So there must be missing Inmarsat data.

However remote, that the engine pings changed from :40 minutes hourly pings to :the 11 minute mark is very interesting. It indicates that MH370's engines were restarted either in or out of flight.

Since the first area was too deep, and it was the primary target area, it seems to indicates that until they reprogram the Bluefin-21 to go as deep as 16,000 feet, or they get another drone, that the search is in limbo. They've already gotten lucky once, perhaps now is unlucky.
