2011 Cabernet Gernischt (far left) from Chateau Hansen in Inner Mongolia, which has also sourced grapes from Ningxia / Gansu. This wine surprised me since it lacked any of the "green pepper" character often found with Cabernet Gernischt.展开全文

Had my first Zimbabwe wine last night: Mukuyu Chenin Blanc 2007. Smelled like slightly pickled sweet chillies. Body much nicer than the nose. Hat tip to @to-drinkers#zimbabwe#
